Brief on the life of the organization and its principal experiences
Play22settembre Cultural Association was founded in September 2000 in the wake of a prolonged operational experience in the fields of music education and musical theater for children (see curriculum Donato DI PASQUALE). Among the many events It promoted and organized, let's emphasize the followings:

 

MUSIC EDUCATION PROJECTS

A piano concert for children and Naso D’Argento, a traditional fairy tale with original music, in June 2000, at “Acquaviva” theater in Mosciano S. Angelo (TE).
A piano concert for children and a Grimm's fairy tale Doctor Knowall/Il Dottor Satutto, with original music, in June 2001, at the “Saliceti” theater in Bellante (TE).
Artistic Coordinator at the final show of the Istituto “Pascal” of Teramo, held at the Comunale Theater in Teramo May 31, 2003.
Computer Music Notation Course at the "Pascal" Institute in Teramo, in 2002/2003.
Dozens of ads and short films made with the projects "SPOT" and "CINEMATOGRAFO" as in 2008/2009 and 2009/2010, at the "Sappho" Public High School In Roseto Degli Abruzzi (TE), Italy


    CONCERTS AND SHOWS
    End of year concert, Duo Astrea AMADUZZI, soprano, Donato DI PASQUALE, piano, December 30, 2000, at “Santa Maria della Fonticella” church in Canistro (AQ), organized and promoted by Play22settembre and commissioned by “Valle Roveto” Mountain Community.
    Concert OF “Italian Instrumental Ensemble” (Cristina MEDORI, violin, Lucia MEDORI, violin, Alan DI LIBERATORE, cello), February 28, 2002 at the Auditorium of Centro Servizi Culturali in Avezzano (AQ), organized and promoted by Play22settembre, and commissioned by the Istituto Magistrale "B. Croce" in Avezzano (AQ) and “Marsica Uno” Mountain Community.
    Playing piano, a solo piano concert, at the “Saliceti” Theater in Bellante (TE) April 1 2002, funded by Tercas SpA
    Play_Uno, a show of music and visual arts, on May 7, 2004, at the “Saliceti” Theater in Bellante (TE), co-funded by Tercas SpA and Banca dell'Adriatico
    Histoire du Soldat – I diamanti del re, a musical show consisting of musical tales (first by STRAVINSKY - RAMUZ, second by DI PASQUALE), premiered October 14, 2006 at the Comunale Theater in Atri, next October 15, 2006 at Multipurpose Hall Of The Province Of Teramo.
    Sperimentartevideo - volume I, on April 7 2007, an exhibition of experimental film and video art at Sala Polifunzionale della Provincia in Teramo, a eight hours “marathon” in which as many as 45 works by 17 filmmakers and video artists of national and international level were projected.
    Il libro dei reclami – Il Dottor Satutto. In February/March of 2008 It promoted and implemented the construction of Il libro dei reclami – Il Dottor Satutto, a show consisting of two works of contemporary musical theater (the first: music by Luciano CHAILLY, libretto by Renato PRINZHOFER; the second: text and music by Donato DI PASQUALE), premiered February 28, 2008 at the “Acquaviva” Theater in Mosciano Sant'Angelo (TE), second on February 29, 2008 at the Comunale Theater in Atri (TE), third on March 1, 2008 at Multipurpose Hall Of The Province Of Teramo.
    ArteinCanto. 1st International Festival ArteinCanto - City of Basciano took 6 to 20 August 2008. The event was divided into a series of concerts and events of considerable artistic and cultural interest, with the presence of artists and professionals in leading national and international scene. For the duration of the Festival there's been  the permanent exhibition of music and visual arts: works, created by composer Donato DI PASQUALE and the painter and sculptor Gianni TARLI. Concluded the International Competition of Singing the opera Il filosofo di campagna by Baldassare GALUPPI, with libretto by Carlo GOLDONI.
    Immortal Game. In March 2009 It was created and promoted Immortal Game, a work of contemporary musical theater (subject, text and music by Donato DI PASQUALE), premiered March 16, 2009 at the Kursaal hall in Giulianova Lido (TE) and March 17, 2009 at the Comunale Theater in Teramo. Immortal Game is a video work too. Shootings were made indoor and outdoor at Valle Piola area within the Municipality of Torricella Sicura (TE). A Magnificent location for the video Immortal Game: an ancient settlement completely abandoned, surrounded by mountains in the heart of the Gran Sasso - Monti della Laga National Park.
    ArteinCanto. 2nd International Festival ArteinCanto - City of Basciano, held 3 to 16 September 2009. The event was divided into a series of concerts and events of great artistic and cultural interest, with the presence of artists and professionals in leading national and international scene. Among other events, let's remember Gran Sasso Mass. A Sung Mass for soloists, choir and electronics by Donato DI PASQUALE and the opera Le finte gemelle by Niccolò PICCINNI
    Play_Due. Music. Graphics. Video. In March 2010 the Play22settembre Cultural Association organized a series of three concerts in the Multipurpose Room Of The Province of Teramo: The Ballad of the infinite universe by Vincenzo GROSSI, Motets by Luigi Pizzaleo, Gran Sasso Mass by Donato Di Pasquale.
    ArteinCanto. 3rd International Festival ArteinCanto - City of Basciano, 15 to 31 July 2010 (see www.play22settembre.it for more information). The event is divided into a series of concerts and events, with the presence of artists and professionals in leading national and international scene. The opera Il barbiere di Siviglia by Giovanni Paisiello, with libretto by Giuseppe Petrosellini, ended the event .
